Aisha Hinds is an American actor best known for playing roles in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. The versatility of her character has been shown in TV series including 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she made her debut as an actor in the year 2003. Her first recognition came from her role as Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. The film was primarily for her portrayal of feminist activist Fannie Louis Hamer, in the biopic All the Way, which gave her the respect she earned as an actress. Hind was also praised for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's drama period series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the series will be renewed for another season. Hind was recently finished filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It will be released mid-2019. His father Krishnaraj is a senior Army scientist, who died March 18, 2017. Mother Vrinda was a domestic worker. Aditya, who is an engineer in the merchant navy, and also her brother, works for her. The younger brother of Bachchan, Aditya Rai, co-produced Dil Ka Rishta and wrote the song along with Bachchan. Arya Vidya Mandir was the school that Bachchan went to after her family moved to Mumbai. Jai Hind College where she studied for an entire year and completed her high school education prior to taking a place at D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she was awarded a mark of 90% for her H.S.C. exams. In her teens she spent five years learning classical music and dancing. Her most loved study was Zoology. Bachchan, who was then studying architecture, won the title of Miss World in the year 1994. The award catapulted her into modeling's fast lane. Her lucrative roles in PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine as well as her deal as a spokesmodel to L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. She played two celebrated parts: Iruvar and Aur pyaar hogaia. Bachchan rose to prominence during the New Bollywood because both films changed the Bollywood film structure completely upside down. Bachchan made her a queen of Bollywood by playing Paro the betrayed lover of Paro in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was among the most popular films in Bollywood. The film was also the first film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. Following that she received praise for her performance in Chokher Bali (2003) an intense drama inspired by Rabindranath Tagore's book. Bachchan was the very first Indian to join the jury for the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan was in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice which is a musical and a dance adaptation to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan was able to bring her stunning beauty and glam to her first major English film. After the film's release, Provoked: a True Story in English, she returned to Bollywood and appeared in the film Dhoom: 2 (2007). In April 2007 she married Abhishek Bachchan, a regular co-star and the son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that brought together two of India's greatest people.
